2017 Pub Shed – Official Rules and Regulations

1. TICKETS AVAILABLE:
There are a total of 5,700 tickets available for purchase. 2,850 are for the Comox Valley Pub Shed and another 2,850 for the Campbell River Pub Shed.
5,100 tickets, 3 for $10.00
600 tickets, 1 for $5.00
Chances of winning depend on the number of tickets sold.
Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.
Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.
All tickets will be consecutively numbered. Only ticket numbers that have been paid for, and have been verified as paid for, are eligible for the draw.
2. TAX INFORMATION:
Prizes are awarded tax free in Canada. The price of tickets is not deductible as a charitable donation for tax purposes in Canada.
3. SALES CUTOFF DATE:
Ticket sales commence April 24th, 2017.
Final Sales Cutoff is 12:00pm, June 16th, 2017.
4. DRAW DATE:
Two draws will take place at 4:45pm on June 16, 2017 at Habitat for Humanity Vancouver Island North Society’s affiliate offices located at 1755 13th, Courtenay, BC.
The FIRST draw will be drawn from the ticket stock with the ‘CR’ preface in the ticket’s serial number sequence. The winning ticket from the FIRST draw will win the “Pub Shed” located and on display at the Campbell River ReStore 1725B Willow Street Campbell River, BC.
The SECOND draw will be drawn from the ticket stock with the ‘CV’ preface in the ticket’s serial number sequence. The winning ticket from the SECOND draw will win the “Pub Shed” located and on display at the Comox Valley ReStore 1755 13th Street Courtenay, BC.
5. CASH EQUIVALENTS AND PRIZE DETAILS:
The retail value of all prizes is $7,000 based on Suggested Retail Price. Prizes may not be exactly as shown. Prizes must be accepted as awarded. No substitutions are permitted. Prizes must be claimed by June 30, 2017. Unclaimed prizes will be donated back to the Licensee, to dispose of as the Licensee sees fit.
The following people are not permitted to purchase tickets in this raffle: Employees, Board Members of Habitat for Humanity Vancouver Island North Society or anyone directly RESPONSIBLE with the CONDUCT and MANAGEMENT of the raffle.
A non-resident of British Columbia may purchase a ticket only if the entire payment transaction takes place while the person is in British Columbia and if the ticket or a receipt is issued at that time.
Tickets or receipts will not be distributed to, mailed or otherwise sent to a non-resident’s third-party address in B.C.
7. OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION
The draw procedures used adhere to B.C. Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch regulations.
The prizes will be drawn from a barrel.
The winner will be published on the Habitat for Humanity Vancouver Island North website, www.HabitatNorthIsland.com by June 30, 2017.
The records of Habitat for Humanity Vancouver Island North shall be deemed correct if there is a discrepancy in numbers.
All sales are final once the ticket number is assigned, and all sales are subject to credit approval.
The Licensee reserves discretionary right not to accept entries.
The Purchaser is responsible for proof-of-ownership of shared tickets.
The liability of the Licensee is limited to the ticket price paid.
The Winner will be notified by phone and/or e-mail by Habitat for Humanity Vancouver Island North Society and given instructions on how to claim their prize.
Winners consent to the release of their names and photo by the Licensee.
